In order to strengthen the communication with insurance-related companies and associations as well as improve the effectiveness of internal audit mechanisms, the FSC held a colloquium for chief internal auditors of life insurance companies, non-life insurance companies and reinsurance companies along with the life insurance association and non-life insurance association on November 19, 2024.

The session topics included the primary examination findings for insurance product management, consumer protection, equity investment and risk management, as well as recent business opening, supervision focuses and common Application Programming Interface (API) security vulnerabilities. The FSC also promoted the importance of anti-corruption and gender equality.

During the meeting, the FSC exchanged a wide range of opinions with all participants. With two-way communication, it allowed financial institutions to gain a better understanding about the supervisory concerns and the examination focuses.
